Table lamp associating the handcrafted glass, the high precision fabrication of the aluminium tubes and the handcrafted gradient anodizing. The downward lighting is diffused through the draped glass on its cantilevered structure.
The work on the metal pieces is done by swiss companies usually making watchmaking pieces and the glass handcrafted by Matteo Gonet in Basel.
The concept was to put a dialogue between the smoothness of the handcrafted glass and the hardness of the CNC-milled aluminium tubes. This dialogue is accentuated by the two various forms and texture of the materials: lined-metal like the watchmaking guillochage and smooth for the glass.
